Kaupapa Moana - Seaweek
Aotearoa New Zealand celebrates ‘Seaweek’ this year between Saturday 5th March and Sunday 13th March. It’s organised by the New Zealand Association of Environmental Education. They use presentations, school field trips and citizen science to inspire and enable kiwis to take time to connect with the sea. Marine ecosystems make up Aotearoa’s largest habitat, yet its environmental health is scantly monitored and faces many threats.
All of Ecosystems Photography’s images with a marine theme are displayed in this gallery. Click on the images to the story behind each photograph. If a Pdf does not pop up on your screen when you click, you’ll probably find it in your ‘Downloads’ folder - adjust your browser settings if you want it to show up directly on your screen.
Purchase of a photograph triggers a $100 donation to a sustainability action group or project of your choice.
